Gail Binagia
A Southeast Texas native, Gail Binagia is a Registered Nurse who now puts forth the same energy and dedication needed in her former career towards the creation of art. Since graduating in 2019 from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, with a B.F.A. in Studio Art, she has concentrated on painting and drawing as preferred mediums.
Gail draws upon her life experiences as well as her extensive travels throughout the United States for inspiration. As a nurse she has seen how vulnerable and unpredictable life can be, and she appreciates the joys and difficulties of living. Irony and humor drawn from these observations can be found in her representational drawings and paintings. Living on the Southeast Texas Gulf Coast, Gail is inspired by the local
landscape as well as by scenes from her travels throughout the United States. Her abstract works reflect the colors and energy of the landscapes she has encountered.
As a student, she has exhibited art at venues in Southeast Texas and Michigan, and her work can be found in private collections in Beaumont and Houston, Texas.
